Construction on the old gymnasium is proceeding rapidly indeed. The demolition is essentially complete. The roofs and windows are gone. Interior non-bearing walls, locker rooms, bathrooms, offices, stairwells, ceilings, lights, old plumbing have all been removed.
In their place, interior walls are being constructed. New plumbing, new electricity, new roofs, new locker rooms, bathrooms, offices, and the first aid room are being formed. An elevator, new stairways, new windows have been ordered. Floors, doors and walls are being leveled and replaced. It is amazing the changes that are occurring.
All of the work is currently on track to allow us to begin using the completely renovated, sparkling “new” gymnasium, upstairs and downstairs, Spring 2007.
