There are many lebanese people in most of the african countries, and they usually are rich and strong communities.
For example, in Senegal, all the lebanese are very rich people, thanks to their trade activity .
Do turkish people also have the same expatriating tradition in african or southamerican countries?
I heard that in Argentina there are some turks too, but I’m not sure.
I think that there must be some reason why the former President of Argentina, Carlos Menem, was called ‘El Turco’.
I’m not sure but if I remember well Gabriel Garcia Marques mentioned something about that in one or two of his books.
However, I don’t know anything about Turkish communities in Africa.
We say, wherever you go on earth, you will find Turks living there. Probably there are Turkish people in African countries, but in small communities.
