Okay, so, I’ve wanted to be a photographer when I grow up since like..3rd grade. I’ve always really enjoyed taking pictures. A few months ago, I took a personality test as part of my school.. I got personality type: ISTJ. I am so much like that personality it’s scary..

Now over the past few weeks, I’ve been watching the tv show: House M.D. It persuaded me to be a doctor. Between that and my personality type ISTJ, It all came together. I’m starting high school next year and you may think this is too early to decide on a career choice, but I want my high school classes to all compliment my career choice. I really want to be a doctor. I know the tv is nothing like it is in real life, there isn’t even such thing as a diagnostics department.. I think..hah..

I’m hoping it’s just what I would be better at and that I’m not being pursuaded by a tv show.

ISTJs generally have the following traits:

    * Value tradition, security, and peaceful living
* Will work long and hard to fulfill duties
* Can be depended on to follow through on tasks
* Loyal and faithful
* Stable, practical and down-to-earth
* Family-minded
* Dislike doing things which don’t make sense to them
* Dislike abstract theory, unless they see the practical application
* Natural leaders
* Prefer to work alone, but work well in teams when necessary
* Extremely observant, they take in facts via their senses and store them internally
* Vast, rich inner store of facts which they rely on to understand problems which they encounter in their lives
* Profound respect for facts and concrete information
* Make decisions objectively, applying logic and rational thinking
* Dislike change, unless they are shown it’s benefit in a concrete way
* Have strong opinions about the way things should be done
* Appreciate structured, orderly environments
* Have very high standards for their own behavior and the behavior of others
* Not naturally in-tune with other people’s feelings
* Able to accomplish almost anything if they put their minds to it
* Community minded "good citizens"

ISTJs have one character trait which puts them at a definite advantage in terms of career success – Perserverance. An ISTJ can do almost anything that they have decided to do. However, there are areas in which they will function more happily and naturally. An ISTJ will do best in a career in which they can use their excellent organizational skills and their powers of concentration to create order and structure. ISTJs seem to fit extremely well into the Management and Executive layer of the corporate business world.

The following list of professions is built on our impressions of careers which would be especially suitable for an ISTJ. It is meant to be a starting place, rather than an exhaustive list. There are no guarantees that any or all of the careers listed here would be appropriate for you, or that your best career match is among those listed.

Possible Career Paths for the ISTJ:

    * Business Executives, Administrators and Managers
* Accountants and Financial Officers
* Police and Detectives
* Judges
* Lawyers
* Medical Doctors / Dentists
* Computer Programmers, Systems Analysts, and Computer Specialists
* Military Leaders

What do you think?

As you shared, you are a possible fit for every career you stated above. The real question is what career is it that you see yourself doing in the next five years or so with complete contentment and without resentment.

It would also help to seek advice from someone who know you. Your parents friends etc. can help you assess what you can do and possible do in the future. This will help you get a clearer picture of things. a clearer picture of you.

It appears that you have a good head on your shoulders as your already contemplating and preparing for your future so keep it up but dont stress and pressure your self too much on the issue.

Its not just a matter of knowing what you can do but what you can do happily and preparing for it.

Hope this helps.

Good luck!

These villas were estates of superb style and comfort, as can be seen in a letter from the orator Marcus Tullius Cicero to his brother, who was traveling in Gaul. ‘All’s right on your estate,’ Cicero wrote. ‘Nothing left to do but the baths and a promenade and the aviary. The paved colonnade gives dignity. The columns have been polished and the handsome curve of the ceiling will make it an excellent summer room. . . . Your landscape gardener has won my praise; he has enveloped everything in ivy—even the Greek statues seem advertising it. It’s the coolest, greenest retreat. Statues, wrestling ground, fish pond, water system—all are fine.’”

George Noory welcomed investigative mythologist William Henry, who discussed his latest research into the esoteric symbolism of the U.S. Capitol and what it reveals about the intentions of the founding fathers. Describing the insights he has gained from his investigation, Henry said, “when you start to look into this and you peel back the layers of the symbolism of the Capitol, you’re like ‘wait a minute, what is going on here?’”

According to him, the symbolism found in the Capitol Building suggests that it is both the center of our federal government and an esoteric temple. While such a concept may sound arcane to some, Henry pointed out that throughout history the building has been referred to as a “temple” by prominent statesmen, dating back to when it was first being built all the way up to contemporary times. He also listed a litany of features which “unquestionably identify it as a temple,” including “stone construction, an underground entrance, chapels … closed doors, private members, and an orientation to the sun.”

Based on his research, Henry surmised that the ultimate purpose of the Capitol as a temple is to deify George Washington. He presented many clues which led him to this conclusion, most notably the striking similarities between a fresco of Washington on the ceiling of the Capitol dome and traditional depictions of Jesus. “The message is crystal clear,” he said, “George Washington is the American Christ … and this is his temple.” Rather than ascribe sinister connotations to this deification of Washington, Henry saw it more as a celebration of the transformation of man into God, which he believes is attainable by everyone. Later in the evening, Henry talked about 2012 as well as his research into star gates.
