pakistani families are conservative and traditional. the husband goes to work and earns money, and the wife stays home and care of the kids. men and women cant be friends after marriage because for example: if a man has a guy friend, the husband will suspect that she is cheating on him.

The best thing to do is go to the library and ask the librarian for some help. I mean, there are lots of traditions and superstitions. Could you narrow it down a bit?

We are having a Jewish-Catholic wedding with a priest and a rabbi. Which wedding traditions are most easily incorporated into the ceremony? I am familiar with Jewish wedding traditions but need help with Catholic wedding traditions, as I would like to make my future husband’s family comfortable.

Talk to both your fiance’s family and your officiants. There are plenty of parts of the Catholic mass that you can incorporate into your ceremony — the readings, the "peace be with you" handshake. But there are others that the priest may not agree to include or may want to modify, such as communion. You’ll get the most accurate information by speaking directly to the priest. And your fiance’s family can fill you in on what they would like to see in the ceremony. If you feel uncomfortable broaching the subject with them, ask your fiance to talk with them about it.

My fiance and I are planning on incorporating some military traditions in our wedding, however he is an E-3 (a non-officer) and that puts a damper on certain traditions such as the Saber Arch. I have found on the internet that we can cut the cake using his Commanding Officer’s saber. My question is, does anyone know what traditions he and I can have in our wedding, based on his rank?

sounds like you may need to get some clarification on the rules….the saber arch is an airforce tradition. the marine corp uses swords. but there is no rule as far as i know that only officers can walk under the sword arch at their wedding….the rule is that only officers are allowed to actually make up the arch, because only officers are allowed to wear and unsheath their swords.

you should check with his ombudsman or the base chaplain or the base protocol officer about any questions you have concerning all of this, but here is a good site run by the marine corp which gives some great information on what to do at a military wedding and how to do it. you cannot believe everything people post on the internet, so you should always to right to the horses mouth for the truth.

I just got hired at Walt Disney World to work at Magic Kingdom. This week I’m attending their training course called Traditions which is held at the Disney University. I was wondering if anyone with any experience with Disney could tell me anything about the Traditions class. I know that it begins at 7:30 am but I’m wondering what time it ends and also what will go on there. Thanks.

i’ve never been but i found this on wikipedia –
All new Cast Members attend ‘Traditions’ on their first day of work; this class imparts the importance of the Disney history, legacy and brand through several promotional videos, group workshop exercises, and prize winning opportunities. The entire building is set up with two floors of class rooms where job practices are taught and Cast Members can practice on cash registers, ticketing machines, and ticket turnstiles. After a formal training period, Cast Members continue to their job locations for further on-site training.

theres also some videos of the classes on youtube is you search for ‘disney university’ –

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=disney+university&aq=f

hope that helped, have a good time

He tells us different theories about the anti Christ. He names some people who were believed to be the Anti Christ. Perry Stone breaks a few traditions. He tells us why it is a tradition to think that the Anti Christ must be a Jew. We need to go back to the word of God especially in which the day and time that we are living in. We need to begin to ask ourselves what truth is what tradition is. We need to separate what man says and what the word of God says.
