totally agree with Maharani, this is a part of Fijian history that some like to overlook, every Fiji History book I read it states that Indo-Fijians were brought in as labourers,when infact it was really SLAVERY. There are parts of our history even the natives that has been tampered with. If we went back in time, most of the high ranking chiefs throwing their weight around today hd little power back in the day…it pays to be pals with the colonials
