What are some French customs/traditions on French holidays/wedding ceremonies?

im doing a research project on it and ive got some stuff down. however i find that the websites usually arent the best resources when it comes to stuff like this. i much more prefer actual people telling me. idk. maybe its just me. thanks in advance!
