金閣は1398年の創建以来、550年の歳月を生き延びてきたが、惜しくも1950年に放火で焼失してしまいました。 現在、目にしている眩く輝く金閣は焼失の5年後の1955年に再建されたものです。 創建当初のように金箔で覆われて金色に耀く再建金閣は、理屈抜きに美しい。 金閣は三層の楼閣建築。初層は寝殿造り、二層は書院造り、三層は唐様の仏間としてつくられ、各層が異なる様式になっています。 Since establishment in 1398, in the time in 550, it survived original Kinkaku but as for it, the incendiarism had burned down to be dear, too, in 1950.
