		<description>well i believe the Church had literature printed in Latin therefore only educated people could read books such as the bible (teaching Christian doctrine)

this also demonstrated its power since books were the gateway to knowledge in that time and they controlled who could actually read them by printing them in Latin....for more in depth knowlege try googling it  or just find it in your textbook...&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
