    I think the movie happens everyday. Handsome men like Ted Bundy, killed many people because they were lured and abused. But I think it is how society has raised there sons to value them more and the abusive thoughts towards women that are allow and this behavior leads to abusive behavior. A man that attacks women indiscriminately does so because he only has power over women. I had 4 guy roommates in college and never had a problem.

    Yes–I guess it is about the melancholy, not an across the board similarity. There is one song in particular, off In Rainbows, the Iron Butterfly remake…that came to mind.

    It’s a great song yes, but being a Radiohead fan for more than 10 years, I can’t see how you could compare this song to any of Radioheads :S
    It’s got some melancoli like many of RH’s songs have but that’s about it.

    If you like the Veils–check out Radiohead. I thought this was Radiohead until I checked the credits after watching Mr. Brooks….There is a song onRadioheads In Rainbows that sounds very close to this.

    i agree with you GilCore…plus it wouldnt have made any sense….it would have just been a pure emotional thing without the cold calculation and tension/stress/confrontation that her father had to deal with…the conflict is amazing…reminds me of various past stories including some from shakespeare
